Maggi Mae Hendricks is a self taught artist studying the world with a brush. She works to understand the equilibrium of exploring the human condition while reaching for something higher. Using bright, vibrant colors, gold, & dramatic symbolism, she creates dreamlike imagery to pull consciousness to familiar yet abstract places.

I have always known I wanted to be an artist. But I didn’t realize that becoming one would involve so much more than the physical act of working to create. Only through my lived expression have I come to realize that creation is so much more. It’s the essence of who we are. Who we all are. A tool to bring us closer to truth. The canvas is a mirror & so is a coach.

My mission as an artist & a lover of humanity is to use art as a tool to see oneself more clearly. By helping people move past creative blocks, & create a stronger sense of self worth, I believe the world will become a brighter place. One empowered creative at a time.
